Confined Space Entry

This Confined Space Entry Course will guide you through all aspects of working in a confined space, including confined space entry, exit, and rescue procedures.

  • Course Outline: Identifying a Confined Space, Determining Class of Confined Space, Understand roles and responsibilities, Identify toxic and flammable contaminants, Identify hazards and steps to mitigate them, Complete a Confined Space Plan and Hazard Assessment, Follow written procedures, including Safe Work Entry Permits, Air testing devices,  Understand and follow Isolation and Lockout/Tagout Procedures, Mechanical Ventilation Systems, Understand the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Respiratory Protective Equipment, including SCBA/SABA, Implement Emergency Rescue Plans, Communicate with Rescue Personnel, Follow rescue procedures for outside and inside the confined space.
